My heart beats fastest when I’m immersed in Laos’ wild beauty, carving my path along the Lao roads that wind through mountains, forests, and hidden trails.
But don’t mistake thrill for recklessness: safety is always my compass. I believe that the best adventures come from pushing limits responsibly. With every jump, glide, and ride, I make it a point to use top-tier equipment, follow best practices, and encourage others to stay safe while embracing the excitement.

Hi there! I’m Julien, the engineer and digital marketer behind Terralao.la, and also an enduro guide exploring Laos’ mountains, caves, rivers, and hidden trails. I designed Terralao.la to make it easy for travelers to discover and book authentic adventure experiences, while also managing our blog to share tips, stories, and insights about exploring Laos.
I personally handle all bookings, reservations, and partnerships, ensuring every adventure is seamless, safe, and unforgettable. My goal is to help travelers enjoy Laos responsibly, connect with the land and the people, and experience both the thrill and the beauty of every journey.

Our story
Terra Lao Adventure was born from a shared passion for exploration and a deep love for Laos. Founded by Anthony, a licensed paramotor pilot who has lived in Laos for more than 12 years, and Julien, a long-time traveler and engineer with over a decade of connection to the country. We operate our own paramotor flights — Anthony pilots every tandem flight himself — and we run our own electric enduro tours. We are not a tour reseller. (Paramotor operations are currently paused for an equipment upgrade; join the waitlist.)
What began as spontaneous rides and small adventures among friends grew into a mission to design experiences that capture the real spirit of Laos. We don't aim to be the biggest adventure company — only the most authentic and the most selective. Every tour, every activity, and every partner is hand-picked and personally tested.
From thrilling enduro rides across hidden mountain trails to serene balloon and paramotor flights over misty valleys, Terra Lao creates adventures that go beyond ordinary travel — connecting travelers with the heart of the country: its people, its landscapes, and its stories.
